Popularity is intentionally unmeasured for now. The default order uses explicit verified catalogue matches. A future popularity value should come from defensible evidence such as RankResources usage rather than a guessed score.

About RankResources

No overall resource-quality score is calculated. The interface uses objective catalogue fields and transparent sorting dimensions.

Every catalogue value has an evidence-confidence percentage. This is a provenance/evidence confidence index, not a statistical probability and not a quality score. Explicit unknown and unrecorded values carry 0% confidence.

Popularity is not yet measured. Collection ordering can use verified catalogue-match count, metadata coverage or A–Z. A future popularity measure should have an explicit evidence source and its own confidence.

Two navigation layers are deliberate. First choose what you need; then filter or sort inside that collection. Broad collections use non-exclusive subtype chips inside layer 2 rather than forcing an extra navigation screen.

Comparison has no fixed item cap. Two to four resources use spacious columns; larger comparisons automatically use compact horizontally scrollable columns with sticky field labels.
